It has almost become tradition: on 20th October, the day before the Interbad, the companies LUX ELEMENTS, SOMMERHUBER Keramik Manufaktur, WDT Werner Dosiertechnik und HygroMatik SPA staged for the seventh time the Hydrothermal Spa Forum (HTSF). International, invited specialists from the spa and wellness industry meet up for this event at regular intervals. The first event took place back in 2006.
This year, the companies Unbescheiden und SnowBOX GmbH joined in as “special guests” on the organiser’s side. The meeting was held in the exhibition rooms of KONZ Fliesenhandel in Waiblingen, which had already proven ideal two years before.
After the welcome in the morning, the popular workshops started off in theory and practice with the current topic “Hygiene and safety in the spa”. The proven rotation principle from the past years was applied again this time. Therefore, all guests had the opportunity of taking part in each of the six workshops. These workshops were conducted by all organiser and guest companies.
Rolf Longrée, Managing Director of LUX ELEMENTS, praises the interested and active cooperation of the international participants: “the workshops took place at an extremely high level thanks to the qualified questions and ideas. We are pleased that after so many years, the HTSF is still able to provide fresh impetus and catch the concentrated attention of the visitors.”
Subsequently, Peter Jeitler, engineer from the Austrian sauna forum, held a lecture about the planning of steam baths in compliance with Austrian standards. Special features: Austria is the only country where standards for spas exist.
There were plenty of breaks between workshops and lectures, providing time for personal exchange. The outdoor champagne bar, made of artificial snow, was particularly popular. The snow was generated and provided by the company SnowBOX.
The participants were highly satisfied, as usual. And the organisation by the Konz Company met with praise from all sides. Bernd Richter, Marketing Manager of LUX ELEMENTS: “Once again, KONZ had organised everything perfectly. The rooms were prepared, the freshly made lunch was excellent, and the personal support by the company’s employees couldn’t have been better.”
Anyone wishing to carry on talking shop or just looking for conversation had the opportunity of finishing off the evening together with a regional dinner. And most of them made use of that opportunity.
